The daily walk

My walking partner does not like to talk

As we walk

I try to stay silent

But I chatter like a magpie

Just released into the wild

I have to refocus

So I begin to take pictures

Interesting subjects along the way

At least I think so

Here is a curiosity

Is it a lost and found reminder

For the neighborhood?

“Did your child lose his (I assume “his” because it’s blue) shoe?”

Yeah, maybe not politically correct

The shoe color association, I mean

Is it a baby Croc?

But

The speculation about “why”

A blue baby Croc shoe nailed to a telephone pole

Are they still called telephone poles?
