THE COTTON PATCH

Meanwhile back in Texas:

The appetizers at the Meet and Greet were not very good.

My friends, who live in Texas, suggested we have dinner at the restaurant across the way (the red and white sign).

“The food is good,” they said.

The next day, my friends raved over how great the food was.

“It was delicious,” they declared.

“Ahmmmm, It was no thank-you, last night.

It is still, “No, thank you.”

I’m sorry, but when you combine the words “Cotton” and “Patch” together, my first thought is not “Oh, boy, great food!”
